The New York Mets and New York Yankees will start a three game series tonight at Yankee Stadium. The Mets are coming off a series loss to the Washington Nationals, while the Yankees are coming off a series win over the Tampa Bay Rays. This series will come down to the pitching and who can play error free defense. The most important thing for both teams is the pitching. The Mets and Yankees have both suffered key injuries to their pitching staffs, but have to continue to fight through those injuries. For the Mets they have to get great starting pitching. The bullpen for the Mets has caused a lot of losses. This series would be a nice time for the bullpen to get their act together. These teams respect each other, but in this series each will be trying to do anything to get the win. Let’s go Mets!
